3. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Basic Use: PROFESSIONAL EFF-Stop Efflorescence Remover is designed to
dissolve efflorescence on masonry surfaces and help to control its return.
Composition and
Materials:
PROFESSIONAL EFF-Stop is a
mildly acidic soap solution and will not harm adjacent surfaces such as wood,
paint, aluminum trim, glass, etc.
Limitations: May require dilution prior
to application on soft brick. Apply to
an inconspicuous area to evaluate effects prior to use on any substrate.
Storage: Shelf
life is 1 year.
4. INSTALLATION
Application: Apply
directly to efflorescence with a low pressure or pump-up sprayer. Allow PROFESSIONAL EFF-Stop Efflorescence
Remover to work for 2 to 5 minutes. Wherever foam remains, repeat application
until no foaming is evident. To inhibit
the return of efflorescence, rinse thoroughly with water, allow the surface to
dry completely (24 to 48 hours depending on weather conditions) and seal with
PROFESSIONAL® Water Sealant. Cover plants and vegetation to protect from
product over-spray.
Coverage Rates: Coverage rates will vary with the thickness of the
efflorescence. Coverage for powder type
efflorescence will be approximately 75 square feet per gallon. Thick, hard, ivory colored (“Cueball”)
efflorescence will require additional applications and the use of a pressure
washer to remove loosened scale.
5. SAFETY INFORMATION
Avoid excessive exposure
and breathing of vapor. Avoid contact
with skin or clothing. Wash thoroughly
after handling. Wear protective gloves
and goggles during application.
6. FIRST AID
Inhalation: Remove to
fresh air. Contact physician.
Skin: Remove
contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash
exposed area thoroughly with soap and water.
Wash clothing before reuse.
Eyes: Flush
eyes with water for 15 minutes. Contact
physician.
Ingestion: DO NOT
INDUCE VOMITING. Contact Physician.
7. AVAILABILITY AND COST
Availability: PROFESSIONAL
EFF-Stop Efflorescence Remover is packaged in 1 gallon (3.785 liter), 5 gallon
(18.83 liter), and 55 gallon (208.20 liter) containers. Contact manufacturer for authorized

8. WARRANTY
Limited Warranty: Professional Products of Kansas, Inc. warrants this product to be
free from defects for 1 year from date of purchase. If the product fails to
perform as stated when applied in accordance with Professional Products of
Kansas’ application instructions, Professional Products of Kansas will provide
sufficient product to retreat the specific area where failure has occurred. This warranty excludes labor costs, direct,
incidental or consequential damages and IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY
IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCH-ANTABILITY OR FITNESS.
